Pairings: primarily Owain/Morgan, various permutations of Cynthia/Inigo/Owain/Morgan
Summary: Owain didn’t understand what special hold Grima had over Morgan, but whatever it was, it wasn’t absolute.
A Morgan-centric Future Past AU that asks the hard-hitting questions like "what could have led Morgan to be so devoted to Grima and betray his friends?" and "what if Owain was willing to bet his life that Morgan's not really evil?" and "what if I made Morgan really sad?" and, most importantly: "what if they all held hands?"
Other: Future Past AU where they get no assistance from the Outrealms and everything is solved with the power of gay thoughts, girl Morgan is absent from this AU for logistical reasons, Canon-Typical Parental Angst, transmasc Morgan, Morgan has 2 hands and they were both made for holding
Notes: Less a long-form fic, more a collection of vignettes that I write because they make my brain feel good, so they're more like cleaned up sketches than polished pieces. I was :( about the relative dearth of Owain/boy Morgan content and then I also had a fun idea for a really gay scene while playing Future Past, so I wrote it. And then I just kind of kept writing and thinking about what might have happened to put Morgan in the position he's in, and now here I am, with a whole-ass "well, what if they tried to save Morgan?" AU on my hands, marinating in all the juicy drama. These are not being written in any particular order, but they're listed in the intended reading order.
